Eastern Partnership Minorities Network

On November 17-19, 2014 in Tbilisi (Georgia) was hosted an international conference of the Eastern Partnership Minorities Network. At the conference, participants from different countries shared their experience, raised questions related to the situation of the minorities and indigenous peoples of Crimea, in the occupied territories of Ukraine, spoke about the possibility of civil society organizations to monitor human rights violations, and discussed the problems of national minorities and the role of institutions of the civil society in conflict resolution. Our Charitable Fund that works in the field of protection of the rights of the Roma minority became a member of the network. We hope our experience in protecting the rights of the Roma minority will be useful to other organizations.
