Access to Justice for Roma in Europe

Roma justice

From 6 to 8 May 2014 in Budapest, a training “Access to justice for Roma in Europe” was organized and held by the International Foundation “Open Society.” The main purpose of the training for the young Roma people of Europe was to study different methods of work on access to justice, and exchange of experiences and ideas in areas such as:

– Access to justice in the Roma communities (including the work of the paralegals);
– Strategic litigation;
– Interaction with public authorities to reform legislation;
– Information campaigns in the media.

In the international workshop participated Renata Balog, the lawyer for Roma people in the Charitable Fund “Progress”.
