On October 28th, a trilateral meeting was held in the premises of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, which was attended by managing director of the Transcarpathian regional Council Ivan Biben, director of the Transcarpathian regional center for provision of the free secondary legal aid Vasil Popadinets, and a representative of the Charitable fund “Progress” Nataliia Kozyr.

The sides discussed ways to create opportunities for cooperation between the regional center for provision of the free secondary legal aid in the Transcarpathian region and fund “Progress”, which is engaged in providing free primary legal aid as a non-governmental organization, as well as the involvement of the local authorities in the area.

Vasilii Popadinets offered the option to create offices, especially in the cities, where the centers for free secondary aid already exist.

In turn, Ivan Biben told about the mechanism of cooperation with the regional council and the administration and the city council, in particular about the five cities and eleven districts in Transcarpathian region.

Thus, it was agreed to develop it jointly and soon submit to the regional program to provide free legal aid.
